NAVRACHNA TEAM:
Navrachna has a team of professionals with diverse backgrounds. The core team consists of members who have vast experience in organizing people at the grassroots level. The team has been working with the tribals and other poor communities in the undivided Madhya Pradesh and other parts of the country.
The team members have facilitated the process of organizing people at the grassroots. Organized seminars and workshops on significant issues. They are also involved in training for skill development, participatory research, capacity building, etc. The team members have been working towards alliance building for developing a just society. The strength of the organization also comes from the village volunteers and community leaders who are the social carriers of the Philosophy of the Organisation.

A Law Graduate from Prestigious NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. She has been practicing in the Chhattisgarh High Court, since 2009. She is also part of the Human Rights Law Network, a collective of lawyers and social activists across the country dedicated to using the law to advance human rights in India. In Chhattisgarh, she has been associated with many human rights works and movements, communities, and organizations advising them on various issues. She has successfully taken up several cases in court on the rights of indigenous people, right to health, human rights violations.

PRAKASH DHRUV
VICE-PRESIDENT
An M.A. in Sociology, Prakash has been with Navrachna since 2012. He is an expert in Organic farming techniques and bio-fertilizers and has vast experience in practically growing and assisting farmers towards low-cost farming. He has successfully reintroduced the millet back in the tribal’s plates to overcome malnourishment.

Ms. KANTA MARATHE

A Post Graduate in Rural Development from Indira Gandhi National Open University and Bachelor in Law from Ghasi Das University, Bilaspur , respectively, She is the General Secretary of Navrachna, besides being the early founder group member. In addition to her handling of many portfolios of Navrachna she also takes up the poor people cases in High Court and also a Trainer for the Barefoot Lawyers. A proficient planner, master at the women and child related projects and an adroit in gender and communication, she is an ace in the monitoring and evaluation division. Her biggest asset however is the patience which is reflected in a systematic outcome of the tasks she accomplishes as the CEO of the Organisation

HIRA MARAVI
TREASURER
Hira Maravi a tribal women has been with Navrachna since 2010. Her strength is working on issues of Domestic viloence and Gender issues. She contributes in the field towards counselling on violence aagianst women. She also represents Navrachna in the Governing Body as Treasurer.

PRASHANT KUMAR P.V.

Prashant Kumar at a very early age started to working in the social field. At the age of 15 in the 1990s he left his home at Kerala and joined the land Campaign in Bastar area of Chhattisgarh. He was very much inspired by Vinoba Bhave Boodan Movement and spent most of time in remote areas of undivided Bastar in 90s. His dedication and self-less service for the organisation are his assets.
